Guess you will just have to try it and see.
BTW, if you need to buy a power adaptor for it, I got a good one from [you guessed it] the Warehouse for really cheap, like $7 or something. |

My Canadian TV works in Korea. It's 110v. but with a converter thing, it works great.
Not sure if Canada and New Zealand have the same standard though... |

No worries - your K tv will wotk fine in NZ. Recent tv's all handle PAL / NTSC and the power supply is the same. Just replace the plug - or take back the K powrboard for all the foreign plugs and change the power plug on that item.
I have moved tv's from/ to NZ, Australia/ Singapore and Korea. Never a drama. |

| On a related note - am I correct to assume that all my NZ appliances (cellphone, laptop, battery charger, etc) will work in Korea if I buy a simple 3->2 pin adapter from the travel stand at the airport? I understand the voltage is the same in both countries (220v) but NZ is 50hz and Korea is 60hz - if that makes any difference. |

What size of TV was it?
How much was the shipping charge? Who did you use and how long did it take?
Been wondering about how to get my stuff back from here.
If the cost of shipping is worth it compared to buying stuff again in the UK. |

I have had no problem getting NZ stuff working in korea nor Korean stuff working in NZ. about the 50-60hz stuff I have only ever heard of one person having a problem and thats with an external hard drive, all they needed was a new case. Most things run on both 50 and 60hz |

New Zealand tv's are twice the price as they are in korea. NZ is still selling 780p as full HD for about 1-2 millon won.
For a 1080p 42" tv samsung you are looking at around 3.5 million won min
good electronics in NZ is very expensive. Chinese crap is dirt cheap |

| Even if it didn't work, you could have a hell of a dedicated monitor for your Wii/PS3/360/Bluray/DVD. |
