Our contract states that if the termination of the contract happens before the full year is finished, we must repay the flight over. It was my understanding, though, that after 6 months you didn't have to pay, because it's law. Am I correct in this, and if so, which wins? |

Airfare is strictly a contractual matter.
It is NOT covered under labor or immigration law (unless you are getting deported and then your sponsor gets billed by Kimmi for the ticket).
If your contract says you repay if you don't complete the year and if you signed the contract then you have to live with it.

Good to know. This was just a precautionary thought... just in case. Thanks! |
