On average, how many students do you have per class period?

Fewer than 12?

20?

30?

I'm just curious.

I've taught in two schools. Between the two, the smallest "class" was 2. Largest was around 20.

I've had classes of 12-42 at public school. It all depends on where one works. You could end up with anywhere from 1 to 45+.

Nope. Laughing I'm pretty much on my own, but I do have full support of the K-teachers (home room teachers... normally off teaching another subject to other classes) and/or the boss if I need them for discipline, explaining something difficult, "accidents", etc.

I teach really great kids and though they do get a bit loud and crazy at times (with 18~22 kindy kids that's to be expected!), I usually have very few problems with them that I cannot handle myself.
