I was looking at a job offer from netkorea, recently posted on the job board. I have heard the EPIK is to be avoided at all costs, but I was curious if this too should be avioded. It seems like this is not a hogwon, but actually run by the gov't.

Any one had any experience with them?

Peace,
Patch

Is your question about NETKOREA or EPIK?

I landed a great job this year through NETKOREA, no complaints here.

About NETKOREA. As I said Im wary of anything that sounds gov't run, just because of the bad press EPIK has had.

I'm a month into a public school contract obtained through NETKOREA. I'm not a newby to korea so im not blinded by the "honeymoon phase". I can honestly sy that this job can't be compared to your average hagwon job in terms of how much better it is. Netkorea have done good work for me, i am the first foreigner to teach in my school and they have helped make a smooth transition for me and the scvhool.

I think NETKOREA is just a recruiting agency that specifically deals with public schools/epik jobs.
