Is there any way I can do this in Korea without getting a whole new laptop? It's a refurbished M6805 e-machines notebook. It's great otherwise but just yesterday the screen started showing 16 columns with hundreds of thin grey and white bars masking the display. I've tried un-installing the driver for the ATI Radeon so it would re-install on restart(because I thought it was a driver conflict with the new internet modem)(the tech came in, went into my modem driver and set new values to make it work, the next day bang the display is malfunctioning.) Since the machine usually has repaired itself without major hassles in the past, this is kind of throwing me for a loop and I think I may have to give in and get a new display. Can it be done?
