Not the best way to regain the trust of the many foreign investors who stopped investing into the Korean stockmarket in past few weeks.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what your point is: is it that only "funny-money" from tax-havens is invested in Korea?

Perhaps there are other reasons why investing in Korean stocks is less attractive now than a few weeks ago.

Of course. Value of the won, etc. Anti-americanism was stated in one article as the reason foreign investors have been pulling out. I was simply making the point that the timing couldn't be any worse. Besides, why are they hellbent on taxing the earnings of foreign investors? Koreans don't hide cash? It's rather pretentious (and ludicrous) of them to think they can convince the governments of these countries to let them tax money that is in their territories.
