Hi,
I really need some help right now. I bought a digital keyboard, that I wanted to get shipped home, so I had my Korean friend help me out with quotes/pick-up times and what not.
My Korean friend translated from Korean won to US dollars incorrectly, and now I've got this packed up piano sitting in a crate in the airport, and they want TEN TIMES more money than my Korean friend originally translated for me. The reason that I couldn't pay before they took the piano (which is what I wanted to do) was because they had to weigh the boxes in the crate at the airport to get the correct price. My friend translated that with my box measurements he gave over the phone, it would not cost me more than $100 US dollars, and I thought, 'beauty, what a great price'. Multiply this number by 10 and you'd be close to what I NOW have to pay.
SO, I say to my dear friend, please tell them I want my piano back, and guess what, it will cost me W150,000 JUST TO get it back from the airport to my apartment.
I really need SPECIFIC information from anyone, and fast, because I don't have much time to play with right now. DO YOU have a friend who works in airline cargo? Do you have a help line that I can call before I rip the hair out of my friend's head?
Sincerely yours,
