Which two would you play in the next game?
It would be really harsh to drop Crouch as he's played well in the last two games. But if Wayne is fully fit, you can't deny him a place. Owen has his good moments but seems to be struggling.
I think I would start with Crouch and Rooney. Probably take off Rooney after 60 mins to preserve his fitness but also give him enough time for a good runout. |

I would play rooney on his own at the start if his fitness is good enough. If not fit enough then Crouch. I would then use Own Hargreaves (don't laugh) or Carrick as the holding midfielder and allow Gerard and Lampard to play as advanced midfielders with cole and beckham out wide.
Owens fitness is crap and his pace is gone so instead of a quick small guy we have a slow small guy. |

If missing countless sitters, having zero ball control and an inability to hold up the ball is 'playing well' then I guess you are right. |

The pundits in the BBC studio had Crouch as our best player in the first game. He was our biggest threat in the second game.
People seem to dislike him just because the start of his career didnt go too well, yet he's started knocking in the goals for his country and is our form striker whether we like it or not. |

And the fact that he is total sh1te. He is not an international quality striker. The only reason he is in the team is because of Owen's lack of fitness and Rooney's injury problems. Scoring against teams like Jamaica and Trinidad proves nothing. His woeful attempt to volley the ball yesterday proved his 'quality'. |

Yet he's the fourth best striker in our country. You don't get in the England team without being at least useful.
I bet you are one of those people that hated Beckham after 98. |

And none of them are in the team.
You can only take the best players at the time to the World Cup.
You can't deny that Crouch deserves his place in the team. |

He might be worth throwing on in the last 15 mins, but playing a full 90? No. |

I've always had nothing but disdain for Beckham. Not because of his footy skills, but because he consistently illustrates how f*cking stupid he is. He and Rooney have the personality of a rock.
Crouch blows. I'd rather they replace him with a more competent player, so then England fans won't have him as a scapegoat when they get destroyed... which I'm pretty confident they will, and sooner rather than later.
Namaste. |

4-3-3 formation with Rooney, Owen and Crouch up there, they are bound to get at least one goal then. |

Steven Gerrard single handedly won the Champions League final in 2005 and the FA cup this year and @#$!!*! Sven is using him as a holding midfield player. I agree we should use Hargreaves in that position, let Gerrard push forward and leave Rooney or Crouch upfront on their own. |

Not convince by Hargreaves. But then as he plays in Germany, no-one ever sees enough of him to have an informed opinion. |
