i pulled a runner two years ago and now i just interviewed at a public school in the same province... they want to hire me, my current visa was processed in Seoul (so far as i know) and my current job is in Busan... as will the future public school job (knock on wood)... and also the province of the runner as well...
i felt extremely guilty after the runner but they lied to me about location and numerous other things... i left within two days of arriving... it was a hard thing to do... i felt like sh*t but...
anyway, will this bite me in the ass years later, the public school is totally awesome, my dream job here if ever there was such a thing... please, please, please God don't let what i did before screw this up... |

Not sure, but I think pulling a runner gets you blocked for three years?
I really don't know tho, someone who was probably misinformed told me that while she was drunk one night. SO many people do runners and work somewhere else that I can't see how it would be the case.
Good luck |

It doesn't matter what immigration office issued it. Do you have an E2 visa in your passport that has your school's name on it? If so you're in the clear. |

I did a runner and came back after the term of my first contract was up, (5 months) after that I came back and had no problems.
You should be fine. |
