So I have been given an old desktop from my boss. I want to convert it to Windows English version or Linux. Currently it's running a Windows 98 Korean version. Is this an easy process? Do I have to put my drivers aside for things like internet or video or sound? It's really not a high-performance machine or anything. Thanks

I have the same situation with an old laptop, Windows 98 Korean: I was planning to re-format and install an old English version.

More than likely drivers will be a problem if its an old machine. Think twice about it.
