Be careful about asking for opinions and "new friends" from a message board. Read the freaky waygooks thread to find out why. |

Hi there,
I'm also living in the Bundang area. I've lived in Migeum for the past year and a half. What neighborhood will you be moving to?
Due to a busy schedule I don't really think I could arrange a time to get together and say hello, but if you have any questions about the area or about Korea in general, feel free to PM me. I'll say this: bring plenty of your favorite brand of deodorant, your favorite brand of tampons, and bras and underwear to last you the duration of your stay. You can find all those things here definitely, but the prices are jacked up and you might have to search around a bit.
That said, welcome... Korea is a good place, which you may not believe at first due to all the negativity on this board. I hope you have fun.

Where in Bundang? It is a large area. (O.K. not so large of an area, but it can still take 40 minutes from one end to the other via subway)
And I agree with maeil mostly, but you can buy underwear for 1,000 won at loads of places. May not find the type you want though. |

Well, sure you can, but Korean women wear granny panties I know - I live with five of 'em. |

I myslef am new to Bundang, as well as the whole Korean experience. So far it's been good, if a bit overwhelming. It's always good to meet new people, so feel free to PM me. |
