I went to Itaewon a couple weekends ago on a cellphone mission and I found a couple places that do the prepayed phones. One place offered me a nice phone at a good price, but he had mentioned that I cannot recieve calls on it, and that the number that showns up on the phone to the person answering is the main corporate phone number. Was this some sort of scam? Was something lost in translation? Is it possible to get a prepaid phone that allows incoming calls? I;ve been told so at least.

Help, please.... Embarassed

Definitely a scam.

You don't need to go to Itaewon to get a pre-paid phone. You can do that at any phone shop.
