It is 1-0 Brazil right now.

Givin the oh so exciting nature of 'futball' I'm juss gonna go ahead and assume that Brazil will win 1-0.

A bold prediction, I know.

Nah, Brasil knows they have a lot of room for improvement.

Australia had every opportunity to win the game but lacked the finishing. Brasil also lacked execution and finishing, but they pulled out 1.5 nice goals.

Australia settled down a bit, but you can clearly see the difference in style by comparing the number of penalties. Australia had more than three times the penalties of Brasil.

Ronaldo looked better than their last match, but still played like crap. The team has decided to try to get him into the swing of it, and I wouldn't count him out just yet, but he needs to snap out of the funk. Roberto Carlos runs rings around him.

Namaste.

Well hope was crushed...but hey it would have been fun.

Brazil is the best team out there for a reason.

By the way Satori...I was not dreaming...I was merely saying it would have been fun to see the Aussies upset the Brazilians (heck even a draw would have been amazing). Very Happy

Gotta like the underdogs.

Did anyone else get this sort of deja-vuey feeling watching the Australians? Like when they all (well 4 of them) ran up the pitch spread out in a horizontal line. Or when an Aussie charged forward hoping to block the Brazilian doing a free kick. And the general imperviousness to rough tackles of course.

It was just like rugby!

Go Australia! I hope you beat Croatia and keep up the rugby-influenced football.
