At the meeting last weekend, was asked if I was Edumakatid Elmer from Dave's early beginnings....damn, what memories you lots have. I totally forgot about that name.

So, then I thought, hey, what happened to Sparticus? His posts are Golden!

So, out of curiousity, any of you change your handle from yesteryear?

Shoosh,

Ryst

I had a different handle a couple of years back (it's retired now, at least on this board Wink ), and before that used my real name (big mistake). I've only ever had one handle/account at a time here except for a brief period (again, a couple of years back).

What about you Ryst? Did we know you under a different name?

Ya, was Edumakatid Elmer for a spat, then one other, but I just don't recall.... you know, I don't even remember how I found out about Dave's or when I started...

Anyone know when the discussion boards started up???

Shoosh

Bulsajo were you Mankind?
I never used a handle because of experiences that Mankind and others related.
I also didn't care for posters who felt they had to get personal when flaming.
Then there were people whose e-mail addresses were discovered by juvenile 'foes'.

Dalton ~

Is your avatar an object from the Sims? It is, isn't it? You're a rabid gamer, aren't you? Wink

I found it while surfing for avatars through Google.

I own SimCity3000 Unlimited but I haven't played it for awhile. It won't function and their tech help was useless.
You do have a point. It does look like a sim pic.

Other than that I play Civ III and Call to Power 2 a lot but not on line.
I like The Sims and Railroad Tycoon.

I love D&D RPG's but haven't found anything I like since My Amiga blew up and I bought a PC in Korea. The game selection for Amiga was much better and I owned a lot. Black Crypt was great. I also wrote my own with AmosPro- the best and only true Basic programming language I've found. Now I'm trying to learn Java 2.0

Eucher on line at pogo.com is my absolute favorite now but it's challenging when you don't have regular partners.

Am I a rabid gamer Question
I never really thought about it to be honest.
Sorry for the long post. I'm typing while thinking about your question but I really don't know Laughing .

That first William Beckerson and that Run Forrest Run guy.

Where'd they go? Will I ever be as clever as they?
