I have been in Korea for 3 weeks, so my Korean isnt quite fluent yet (HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE understatement)
But i wanna eat more Korean food in restaurants, but i am a little picky, i.e i dont like eating live octopus, (and i would rather wax my balls than eat Kimchi) but i know i would order something like this.
ts not that im sleazy, i have no problems with a bloke showing me a good dish, but dinner for 2 with a bloke, well- it aint the same!

Yeah, a site filled with girls who say "Why do these creepy foreigners keep sending me these perverted e-mails? I just wanted to find friends."

I wouldn't bother with K-friendfinder if I were you, Essexboy. Get yourself to Hongdae, Shinchon and Itaewon and get yourself a nice bird there who speaks English. Me and my American mate have had more birds than Bill Oddy.

There's this rather sad and unattractive fellow I work with. He's a nice enough guy but one day he said to my boyfriend and I something along the lines of "will you hang out me because I don't have any friends right now and I'm lonely."

Of course. We all go out have a fun day together despite his fervent pro-Bush rhetoric (he's Canadian - which makes it even stranger). I mention to him friendfinder.com. I had gone their looking for a language exchange and got a whole lot of "Hello, how are you? I'm fine thanks. My name is Min Seok. Do you drink so ju?"

I figured it was perfect for him. I never cease to be amazed by the ugly foriegner - fairly attractive looking Korean female epidemic in this country. Low and behold we don't hear from him for months. I run into him by chance downtown feeling all guilt-ridden that we haven't called him and he gives me this "sorry I haven't been in touch - I've been busy" line.

He's been going to Busan every weekend for the past few months to see his new girlfriend he met on friendfinder.com. I would love to have read his profile: lonely, horny, ultra right-wing Canadian seeks unwitting Korean female for live octopus, one-sided conversations and long walks on the beach.

I don't know if this story warranted the legnth of this post but...I thought it was funny.

Do you know where i can get the meat that is barbecued? i heard that it's meant to be really good; every time i go to a restaurant, i seem to order the same- noodles in black bean sauce, partly because i point at a load of incoherent squiggles to my western eyes!
