|
|
Saw my first rat in Korea yesterday. Was just strolling along and saw some ajumas acting crazy. Thought they were drunk until they pointed to the rat. It was crossing the street, about 9 pm in an apartment parking lot, looked like it didn't have a care in the world.
Then today, a friend saw another one, this time in our part of town, again around 9 pm.
I've concluded that Daejeon is over-run with them, since what are the odds of seeing rats in different parts of the city, with people around? Neither rat seemed concerned at all to be seen, even though there are
cats and kittens everywhere.
I can't believe I've never seen one before, as the garbage and the accompanying smell is everywhere, and the roaches sure seem to love it. |

I see thousands of rats as I walk the streets of Korea everyday. Many wear business suits. Enjoy. |

| Korean rats are wimps compared to Taiwanese rats. Those buggers strut into class and carry off students without blinking an eye. Please don't tell me about Taejon rats. However, my first boss in Korea was a Taejon rat of the first order. He and his mint green suit put Taiwanese rats to shame. |
