Does anyone know how many of each letter is in a Scrabble set? And how many points each letter is worth?

I haven't seen any Scrabble games around and would like to make a simple one to use in class, but I need the basic information.

If anyone has this, or knows where to get the information, I'd really like to know.

I have seen Scrabble sold quite widely in the large bookstores - both adult and kids version. Bit pricey though.

This distribution of letters has not changed since Alfred Mosher Butts invented the game in 1938.

With a couple of minutes typing and a couple more with scissors, I now have 3 different games to play to fill the last 5 or 10 minutes of class.
