Kind of a knock-off of the ""Real American Heroes" beer commercials in the US, this thread is dedicated to the ROK natives who, wittingly or not, provide you with some sort of boost to your day. It can be individuals or stereotypes, genuine or sarcastic. I'll start. See if we can keep this going.

Thank you, "Squeals like a pig anytime the ball gets near the goal for either team Korean girl next-door neighbor!"" I'm not really into soccer/futbol/football, but thanks to you, I know exactly when to change the channel and actually see something exciting happen!

Hee hee. I have a few female neighbours and they sweal like pigs too when Korea gets remotely close to doing anything useful. *Ugh* Razz

Some high school girls made me laugh when I walked by their school today. They shouted, "Hi! Come on baby!" Haven't heard that in a while.

My Kids always brighten my day-
"Teacher, you are very handsome"
"how are you today teacher" etc.

So sweet.!!!

Wish they stayed like that into adulthood.

Old Koreans, especially the ones whose backs are so terribly stooped from all their years of work out in the rice fields.

I consider many of these people heroes Idea

And the strangest thing is, these people by me drinks? In the middle of the street?

I am always amazed when people out of nowhere just give me something. It happens about once a month.
