I just accepted a teaching position in Seoul, and was wondering if anyone knows of any gym's or workout facilities in the Nowon-gu area? |

Wow! Where are you from? I'd like to know what kind of people say "Gym's in Seoul" as opposed to "Gyms in Seoul"? As for the gyms, well, Seoul is a pretty big place with many gyms. I'd advise you to ask your co-workers or your boss where the local gyms are.
Here in Korea, most gyms are called "Health". That's what every gym's sign says (in Hangul of course). |

In Seoul it is hard to walk down a main street for more than 2 minutes without finding a health club. Some are pretty crappy, many have all you'd expect back home, and some even have those ca.1950 "shake the fat off" machines... I love 'em.
Expect to pay between 30,000 ($30USD) to 80,000 ($80) per month. 3, 6, 12 month packages often available. |
