In class I've got to get the students to do listen and repeat with some pretty boring texts, so usually I try to keep them on their toes, by changing the names, i.e Mary becomes Gollum, Peter becomes King Kong etc.

The students love doing this, but due to my lack of imagination I'm running out of new names. So if you guys can think of anymore names (from movies or whatever) that Korean students know and find funny please let me know.

So far I've been using;
Smagol, ET, Shrek, Godzilla

If you're replacing the names in the books, why don't you use your students' names? I do that sometimes.

Also I have them stand up in front of the class and act out the conversations. If there's an inanimate object in the conversation, I'll have one of the students be that object. They get a kick out of that.
