Hi all,
I taught in Sokcho, Korea for a year back in 2001. In that one year, I took a bus to Seoul probably less than 5 times. On the way back from Vietnam this summer, my family and I will stop by Seoul for a week at the end of July. I want to take them to places around Seoul, but don't know much about the city excepts booking city tours (yes...palaces and temples) on the internet here in Canada. OH...and the restaurants....any suggestions for good Korean restaurants in Kangnam area? And how far is Kangnam to Itaewon if we take taxi?
I have been reading posts in this forum since I got back from Korea, but this is my first time posting:)
Thanks for any inputs. |

You might want to take a translator with you to a korean restaurant. I have been here 2 years and I cannot read the menus yet. Deciding on seating is easier. Want to sit on floor or chair? I find that places around the markets are good and inexpensive. And if all fails, there is Outback!! |
