Is it true that the Korea is the only country that uses the CDMA technology with their cellphones while the rest of the world used the GSM technology? If so, why on earth would someone purchase a high end cell in Korea only to have it be utterly useless outside of that country.
I had purchased a cheapie cell in Taiwan that has a sim card and (presumably) uses GSM technology. Would anybody know if I can use this phone outside of Taiwan? |

If it is an UNLOCKED tri-band GSM you can use it just about everywhere except Korea. Simply a matter of changing the SIM. |

New Zealand uses CDMA Australia does, some of Nth America does, so it is not the only place that uses CDMA (possibly the only place that solely uses CDMA).
If you think about if most phones are worthless if you are going to Japan as they use different frequencies |
