Not that they are that hot. But many times I go to entertainment type sites (call me a pervert or not, I don't care) I get ads for this dating site and they show "available" girls in Korea, with their locations. Are they really there? Or are these random pics of girls that this company uses to entice you to using their service? Just curious. thanks

I noticed one of those ads today, and there is a tiny little disclaimer that says:
Actual user pictures, information for example purposes only, or something like that.
I recognized a friend of mine in an ad for Adultfriendfinder. She's a gorgeous girl and really has no need to post a personal there, but she does have a profile on Koreanfriendfinder, and the site probably borrowed her pic. Just a heads up if you decide to post your picture on a personals ad-- you may find it in unexpected places. |

| I remember living in a tiny little city in Korea last year (Shintanjin) and occasionaly I'd see this same kind of ad. Every time I refresh the page, there'd be another dozen gorgeous babes living in SHINTANJIN! And to think, I only met 2 other foreigners living there for a year. Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. |

I've looked at those "friendfinder" sites and it does seem that they cross-reference search results on one with the other. Plus, you can get bonus points for signing up on other sites, so it's in your best interest to sign up on as many as you can, whether they be jewishfriendfinder, whitepowerfriendfinder, or whatever.
By the way, back when I used it, the title image on KFF was a picture of a Korean girl and a white guy sitting together blowing bubbles. Once I stumbled across that image on a porn site, and it turns out it was from a porn shoot. In fact, if they hadn't cropped that image you would've been able to see the girl's landing strip. |

What I think is happening is that the site is a dynamic site which reads what zone the person viewing the site is from. The server finds out you are in Korea somewhere, so it displays "Meet this hot girl from [Korea]!" The girl is a model from anywhere in Asia, likely.

| Yeah, I know the site is reading the IP address, I just wasn't sure if there were actually that many white girls in Korea looking for boyfriends. I am sure it is fake now. Thanks |

They might exist but let me tell you this:
When my ex-boyfriend lived with me we both had our computers in the living room. One evening he tells me to turn around and have a look at the banner on the side of his screen. Its an ad with my fakeish e-mail name and my location and a picture of a 20 year old bunette, as an example of girls who want to meet men in our city. I laughed quite hard. |
