from Korea.. flights go to Manila. Then you just go down to Philippines Airlines at the airport and book your flight to either Catlican or Kalibo.. thats as close to Boracay as you can get.
You can also book those flights in advance through the internet - Philippines Airlines or Cebu Pacific.
Catlican is right next to Boracay.. but you'll be flying in a small airplane. If you want a bigger airplane.. then you'll fly to Kalibo and take a 2-hour mini-bus to Catlican.. then the 15-minute ferry over to Boracay Island. |

A Korean travelagent told me they only sell plane tickets in Korea to manila and that they can't get me all the way to Boracay... is this true or does she not know what she's doing? if it is true, then my question is what is the easiest way to get there? and can i book these tickets from korea? if you've done it, please share your knowledge on the subject...
thanx in advance.. |
Book your flight to Manila from here. If you use PAL they can ticket you direct to Kalibo.
If you use another airline then you have to book to Manila and then grab a domestic ticket to Boracay.
Best choices are fly into Caticlan. YOu can use either:
http://www.flyseair.com/ South East Asian Airlines or
http://www.asianspirit.com/ Asian Spirit.
My personal recomendation is to book and fly with SEAair. They fly the new 32passenger DO328 aircraft and offer great package deals with airfare, hotel and transfers from Manila. Check the website. |
