Wasn't sure of which forum this should go in, so here it is. This is just a friendly, helpful suggestion to all the English teachers here.

If you show a student a word a couple of times in one class, they won't necessarily remember it. But you keep showing it to them everyday and they will remember it after awhile. I am hoping to do the same here.

The awhile, yes. This is another common one I have seen on this board. Last I checked though 'every' and 'day' together had become grammatically proper. Dictionary.com says it's fine Smile

"Everyday" and "every day" have very different meanings.

Everyday is an adjective and means normal or commonplace.
As in, "A placid everyday scene."

I am more concerned about the idiots that spell loser "looser". I find that intensely annoying for some reason.

When I was in junior high I went to a basketball tournament where the big sheet that showed which teams advance used the word "looser" many times. It gave me brain cancer.

One of the ways to avoid these problems is to pronounce the words you are attempting to spell.

Par example:

Pro-nun-ci-a-tion.

Nothing drives me battier than a grown English-speaking human that writes or says:

Pro-nown-ci-a-tion.

Nothing. Evil or Very Mad
