What is the deal with the internet? I read something about ID numbers and a lot of government regulations. But, I'm unclear how it works. As a foreign worker, will it be a hassle getting the internet in my flat? Also, are p2p programs restricted? I am a big torrent junkie and I will go mad if I can't download all my favourite tv series. I'm packing my laptop full before I leave just in case. So far I have the full 5th season of "24", the full first 2 seasons of "Lost", all 4 seasons of "Spooks" and a few others like "Rescue Me", "The Sopranos" and "Prison Break". That should last me a few months, but I'm thinking ahead ! |

From what I make of it, you need like an ID number (you'll get one with your alien registration card) to sign up for internet. After that, though, you should be able to use bit torrent and other p2p programs rather easily. |
