I know this maybe a bit easy for some people but I need some help. I am looking for a place where I can buy a bottle of Southern Comfort, the 100 proof kind. Also I am looking for a bottle of bitters for Wiskey sours. Thanks. Cosmic Charlie Mr. Green

You're kidding, right? Ever drink Bacardi 151? Guess what the 151 stands for.

How about Everclear? 190 proof.

There are tons of drinks on the market that are over 100 proof.

I forgot about the proof to alcohol ratio. Erm, I was a croktail waitress- not a bartender. As for Everclear, I have never once seen that in a liquor store (back home, or here). Where do you buy it? I have seen Bacardi 151 here (in black mkt. shops), though...

I think I'll google Everclear (I'm super bored right now...).

*Edit* 'Kay, now I know why I never see it:

It is illegal to purchase the 190 proof version in many U.S. states such as Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Washington, California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia (as of November 2005). Due to Everclear's lack of sugar and impurities (congeners), it may make drinkers less vulnerable to hangovers. However, the lack of a strong flavor tends to promote overconsumption. Everclear is usually mixed into an alcoholic beverage, and is highly flammable.

Warning: Can be lethal when used as shots or substituted for water in Jello shooters Shocked
