I have a tenancy question in relation to the notice period required to give the owner when one wants to vacate a property. I've been told it's 2 months, is this right? And does it need to be in writing? Also do they carry out an inspection prior to vacating? If anyone can point me in the direction for info on tenanacy law that would be appreciated. |

If you get out of your ;ease early, you might have to pay a fee for the realestate agent. I would just tell the owner you are planning of leaving soon and to start looking for another tennant. The owner will check to see if there is any damage after you leave. Usually you won't even need to clean. You should get your key money wired to your account within a day or two. I think the relationship with your landlord is most important. How long is your lease for??? |
