The next 12 months are all about saving money for me. I'm planning on being a real miser while in Korea because I want to save enough for a down payment on a house. Sooooo, apart from taking a second job teaching, are there any other ways to earn money? Ideally I'd love to bank all my teaching pay and live off a secondary income. For example, doing text editing, writing essays or even doing English radio or recordings.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

Lets not make this a thread on the legality of second work. I'm aware of the risks, etc. Very Happy

Typical newbie... wanna run a marathon but doesn't know how to walk yet...

Get on the ground.
Get your feet wet.
Learn the ropes a little bit.
Then you will understand it all and this question will disappear from your mind.
It's all about connections dude. Local networking on the ground.

Then and only then you will make your extra coin.

I must agree with the above

If you have a chicken that lays golden eggs, would you be willing to share it?

So yes, you need some connections and a direction to lead you to where you might make a difference.

Check out www.englishspectrum.com They advertise part time work, and you can even put your profile on-line, too, and wait for people to come to you.
