In Yongsan there is a stretch with only PS2, X-box and pc game shops.

If you walk to electronics market from Yongsan station the road goes up-hill and curves to the right. You'll see couple of video shops and a couple of tunnels through and under the building. If you look behind it you'll see a building with many game and video banners and a parking lot.

Anyway look at the tunnels. The one closest to the front has hand phone shops. The next tunnel back has some game shops on the steps leading down. Here's where all of the PS2 and X-box guys are.

Many of them have used systems and possibly modded systems. If they don't have modded systems, some of them can do the modification for you. Stop and ask them and shop around for the best price. Most of them have the same initial price so you have to barter with them to get a good deal. Don't be afraid to walk away because there'll be someone else down there who will work with you.

As for playing Region 1 DVD's, I'm not sure but I believe there are different chips that will give you region free games or region free movies or both. Best bet is to tell the shop owner what you want and see if he can do it.

Check out waterbaby's link above too.

Cheers and good luck.
