Brazil 3 France 1 Wink

I'd say brazil goes on a rampage in the second half.

I think my pick 'em score thread prediction is 5-1 Brazil.

My last two predictions on that thread: Portugal 2-1 win and Italy 3-0 win (seriously!)

---------

Brazil is wearing Blue and France red?

That is so wrong!

brazil in yellow and France in Blue please!

Check the color on your TV. France are in mostly white and Brazil traditional yellow.

Decent first half (especially if you're rooting for France like I am)...

It's a shame they couldn't take better advantage of those free kicks though!

Zidane was brilliant and Henry's goal was insane...

France deserved the win, and those who say otherwise weren't watching the same game I was..

I've almost lost my voice from yelling at the TV so much..

I love it!!

Bring on Portugal!!!

France clearly played a better game. Brasil looked very sluggish.

However, even with that difference, there were a number of highly dubious calls. The one goal France got looked offsides. Ronaldo got fouled so many times - with no call - that it almost made up for his flop which did actually earn a pk. Zidane could do no wrong. After this upset, England going out, Spain going out, I have no interest in any of the remaining teams. Disappointing finish to the WC, IMO.

Namaste.

That's a bit of sour grapes. A new champion waiting in the wings, the home nation playing some scintillating football, underdog Portugal reaching the semi final, the old guard of the French having one last kick at the can ... I reckon we're poised for one of the more memorable WC endings in recent years.

Germany has a good team, but I don't like the players.

Portugal has a good team, but I couldn't care less about them.

France has a fair team; I like Zidane but loathe Henry and his flopping buddies.

Italy plays crap footy that I have no interest in watching.

Thus, no interest in the remaining matches.

However, I freely concede that France played the better match tonight. Sure, there seemed questionable no-calls, but Brasil got out-played. The end.

Namaste.

Now that Brazil is out, the W.C. becomes interesting.
For me, it's the Azzuri, but the game against Germany will not be easy.

Portugal is the underdog so I will cheer for them. I hope Italy loses because I don't like their style. Funny thing to say about Italians. Razz
