Does anyone have anything on SLP in general or in particular in Ansan? I've been offered something which seems pretty good and the staff sound like they have good morale.
Have heard a couple of bad things about them.
Cheers guys.

SLP publishes their own books. Sounds like a good idea, doesn't it? Actually their books are written by Joanne Lee or some other mental defectives who have no grasp of grammar or education. Zero.

The books they don't write are chosen by a comitte of cheapskates who chose books on the basis of the price of the book, which means you'll be using a VERY thin text for several months. The kids will mutiny after the first two months. Just ask to look at their books and lessong plans.

Also, check here for how many times both Ewha ALS and SLP appear...it makes you wonder why Dave's doesn't have a blacklist as well...oh, that's right...not good for advertising. You see, credulous individuals want to think this sit is for teachers, but actually it's for employers...Dave doesn't care about teachers, he only cares about money. Apparently the amount of stress and BS new teachers have to put up to work here are merely incidental to Dave.

I'm suprised places like this aren't more common or perhaps even offered at trustworthy and esteemed places such as this forum. I guess the only way Dave can be induced to care about you is if you give him money (advertising) even though the bulk of traffic here is from people he once shared occupations with. Gee, I hope criticizing Dave for being a soulless capitalist is against the TOS.

Again, the lack of detail (names of people you should never work for) in some places is hard to understand. Were they not given or do they somehow deserve the protection that their former employees should have had? When we get blacklisted ALL of our info is available. Is that site the real deal or just a decoy?
