Myself and a friend are heading to Japan on the 29th of July. We are looking to buy the discounted coupon book which costs 60,000Y for 6 tickets. Basically it's $85 per ticket each way, when individually they cost $113 each. We are going to be taking the early morning ferry, but the ticket book is good for 90 days from date of purchase. If anyone is looking to head over and would like a discounted ticket please email me ASAP, and we can purchase this together. If you live in Busan, this would be easiest, as we could go pick it up together, otherwise I could mail the 2 tickets and transfer money via bank account.
Blackout Dates:
Coupons are usable throughout the year, excluding the periods of April 27 through May 6, August 11 through August 20, and December 28 through January 6.
Otherwise if you know of a why to purchase these discounted tickets directly from a travel agent please let me know.
Thanks
David

I believe a one-way ferry ticket from Busan to Fukuoka is $95, not $113. Thats what Kangsan Travel said when I called them last week! |

I recently discovered that as well. It's $113 directly from the ferry company. Kangsan probably buys the coupon books and then marks them up a little bit. |

I bought direct from the ferry company last week in the ferry terminal and it was $95.
I think you are making up some white lies as i have always bought at the terminal for the ferry and have caught the ferry at least 5 times from busan to fukuoka... |

I just called Kangsan Travel to book my ferry tickets.. Bad news. Boats going Busan-Fukuoka on Sat July 29th are SOLD OUT. Boats going Fukuoka-Busan on Wed Aug 2 are also SOLD OUT. I'm on waiting lists now. Damnit!
Has anoyone here ever just gone to the ferry terminal on a sold-out day and tried for stand-by to Fukuoka? |
