I just got a great new job. And this time, unlike my previous schools, where I was always a Full Time Lecturer, my Rank is Assistant Professor.
How common is that for a foreigner? I am in hog, no I mean chicken heaven. Oh, and it is also one of the top national universites. Very Happy

Congrats! Isn't it nice to know your job search hell is over?

On the title, I think it just varies from uni to uni. My last title was Visiting Assistant Professor, which doesn't exactly translate into Korean anyway. Maybe someone here with better Korean skills can give us more info.

Cheers!
