Istanbul near 녹사평 subway station (one stop from itaewon station)
great fish & chips for about 6000 won.

3 Alley does one. Huge fish but not proper chips - just oven fries. Hubby thought it was OK.

I haven't had the fish and chips there, but the durum tavuk doner (aka, wrapped chicken kebab) is the British idea of what Turkish food is. If they do the British idea of fish and chips, too, you should be in good shape there.

(The doner wasn't bad; it just wasn't exactly what I was hankering for. Take me back to the donerciler on Taksim Meydani.)

Yeah they don't pretend to be a 'proper' turkish restaurant (though the name could be slightly misleading) It is run by an Aussie guy and his Korean partner. I guess it's aussie style kebabs and fish and chips. good stuff!

For the best fish and chips in Korea, you must go to Busan. At the Marriott Hotel, they have better fish and chips than back home. Also, I found a little place in front of Haendae, couldn't be bothere remembering the name, but fantastic fish and chips.
