Does anyone know of a decent (and cheap, of course) place to stay in Sinchon (hotel/love hotel)?

Sinchon, as in Sinchon rotary? Its like love hotel central there. Starting at Sinchon station, take exit 3 and head down the street that takes you towards Yonsei University. At any of the streets there, take a right and start looking up. When you get to the quiet, darker place with all the couples walking hand in hand, you've found the love hotel section. They've also got huge neon signs, hence the looking up part. Choose one, they're everywhere, all the way to the backside of the Artreon theater.

You can even see the Tiffany Hotel on this map:

The Tiffany Hotel is not alone, believe me.

Piano, behind Mirabeu was kind of posh. Hot tubs and stuff. 50 bones a night I think. But I think think the ones near Insadong take the cake. I know it sounds bad, but one of the best things about korea is the value of these places.

Piano is nice, but tiny. E'zen, behind/next to Outback is a bit better, especially if you get one of the theme rooms. They run closer to 80/night on the weekends, though.

I've stayed in the Lotte, the Hyatt, and other top hotels in Seoul. None of them are as nice as the love motels I've frequented, and they're 25% of the cost.

Gotta love 'em...
