kimchi
fancy dduk gook (still crap...but now WITH EGGS!)
ground beef and sliced radish in sweet sauce
plain white rice
yogurt drink
I'm curious what they're troughing up at other schools. |

We had:
Rice
Tofu and patato soup
Kimchi (I passed)
Grass clippings (I passed)
Bulgogi
Lettuce leaves to go with the bulgogi
All in all a better lunch than average for my school's standards, which may not be saying much. |

Today we had some sort of plain thin white noodle soup with kimchi and a yogurt drink. The past two weeks have been the worse. It use to be ok, but now... We didn't even have rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

This thread title is the name of a memory game I played with some students yesterday.
Today I had 해장국 and the standard side dishes. Right now, drinking grape yogurt. Mm.. |

i order sujebee (korean vegetable soup) and its like 2500 won and i still can't finish it........its yummy!!!
i like other korean foods but the portions are too big and i end up wasting too much of it (i don't have a microwave so taking it home to reheat is futile) |

Today, my school was serving....
Vegetable fried rice, with beef (just to piss off our vegetarians, the menu did not mention the beef)
dwenjangguk
spicy squid stirfry
potato carrot stirfry
kimchi
and pineapple for dessert
It's been much worse. |

I had dul-sot-bibimbop. we order from a restaurant every day.
Wednesdays we switch between KFC or Etang Pizza. Love the biscuits too at KFC.
Fresh ground coffee with toast and toast with peanut butter for dessert.
Love black coffee with pb. |

| They took me out for fish stew yesterday. I'm not a fan of fish so I tried some, pretended it was too spicy and they ordered me pork cutlet instead. I would have been fine eating rice but it was nice of them. |

OK, so I'm not working right now, so I didn't eat lunch at school (ate lunch at a 4th of July BBQ overlooking the Nenana River ), but when I am at school we have a mix of western & Korean food. I've gotten to the point where I prefer the Korean food... except on spaghetti day. MMmmmm... spaghetti day. |
