Does anyone know if it's possible to rent a cell phone at Vancouver International Airport? I'd like to rent to phones for one week. Any idea how much that would cost?

I rented a cell phone at Vancouver airport just last month.
I reserved it at http://www.cita.info/ and picked it up just outside the interantional arrivals area.
It was pretty expensive to use. I think I paid $130 for 2 weeks and I hardly made any phone calls. It was more expensive for me because I used it outside Vancouver. Expensive but still it was good to have.

Thanks so much for the info. Damn, that's expensive, though.

Just buy a pre-paid cell phone at a 7-Eleven. I don't know exactly how much they are; there's one more expensive one and one cheaper one (somewhere between $50~100).
As far as I know there is no activation fee, and the airtime (cards) is good for up to 6 months or a year or something like that.

It'll end up costing you no more than a rented phone, and in the end you get to keep it to either use it again when you come the next time, or sell it to the next person who's going back to Canada.
