The bitter fruit of years of multiculturalism.
http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23228
Investigators have recently uncovered a series of Internet postings made by the wives of a group of suspected jihad terrorists. They include these comments (all spelling and punctuation is as it was written):
Know what you will face one day. Let them call you a terrorist, let them make you look like a savage, but know that THIS [the American military] is the filth of the earth, the uncivilised destroyer of humanity.
[And] if [my husband] ever refuses a clear opportunity to leave for jihad, then i want the choice of divorce.
All muslim politicians are corrupt. There's no one out there willing to rule the country by the laws of Allah, rather they fight to rule the country by the laws of democracy.
Are you accepting a system that separates religion and state? Are you gonna give your pledge of allegiance to a party that puts secular laws above the laws of Allah? Are you gonna worship that which they worship? Are you going to throw away the most important thing that makes you a muslim?
May Allah crush these jews, bring them down to their kneees, humuliate them. Ya Allah make their women widows and their children orphans.
May Allah curse the jews.. Ameen
Model Canadians I think you'll agree. How many more Muslims in Canada hold the same opinions? |

Big V, have you ever thought about buying a bottle of soju, sitting out on a white plastic chair in front of 7-11 and just kicking back and enjoying an evening? It beats carrying around a load of hate and fear. |

The usual psychologizing nonsense. Actually, the post was about people who really do hate and fear. Perhaps you should address that.
As for your suggestion, I am sitting in an office in Cardiff, and so the whole soju and 7-11 is a no go. Of course, after I finish work I shall be off down the pub with the Welshies to watch the French beat the Portugese. |

Um, yeah, I always thought so ... still looking for anything in the OP's quotes that refer to Canada - wonder what's up with that.
frontpagemag is a very suspect site, something like The Weekly World News kind of tabloid kind of thing, internet-style. BV is clutcvhing at straws when he pulls sites this out of his hat. |

Ya-ta,
Instead of your usual ad hominem, why don't you try to prove the OP wrong? That's what an educated man would do. |

If you read the whole article the quotes about Canada are there.
Personally, I don't much like the Guardian, but I would not try to discredit an article or dismiss it out of hand based on the fact that it is from a certain news source. Why not try to deal with the issues raised instead of shooting the messenger? |

Bob: You are correct, his selection of quotes does indicate a Canadian connection, however, I think he was referring to this:
The Frontpage article states:
Quote: |
These posts and others like them were written not in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or Yemen. They were written in Canada by several of the wives of the jihad terror plotters recently arrested there: |
and
Quote: |
But if they are not oppressed, what would possibly have inspired the hatred and contempt these women feel for their own country? When asked what she thought was unique about Canada, Nada Farooq replied, Who cares? We hate Canada. |
You might be interested in this article. It appears this is where the article the OP references comes from:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20060629.wxblog29/BNStory/National/home/?pageRequested=1
Quoting from the article:
Quote: |
Ms. Farooq's hatred for the country is palpable. She hardly ever calls Canada by its name, rather repeatedly referring to it as "this filthy country." It's a sentiment shared by many of her friends, one of whom states that the laws of the country are irrelevant because they are not the laws of God.
In late April of 2004, a poster asks the forum members to share their impressions of what makes Canada unique. Nada's answer is straightforward.
"Who cares? We hate Canada." |
Take care.

Oops. should be "... does not indicate a Canadian connection."
That's what I get for staying up to watch the soccer game. |

Makes you wonder why they don't go and live in Pakistan or some other such Islamic haven. Ah yes, no government benefits. |

Yup, economic migrants.... They don't give a f*ck about their new home, they just want the handouts. The Quran says good muslims must love and respect the land they live in as it were their home. Time for deportations back to Asscrapistan or wherever they come from. |

Wow, for such a firebrand anti-American, you certainly do seem to have absorbed the worst of the "love it or leave it" ideology so beloved among the more lumpen elements of the GOP. |

Wow. The boy is far more complex than previously hinted at. He hates two groups of people. Could there be a third one on the list? |

While WorldWide is revealing himself as a troll by showing his true colours, we should at least marvel at the consistency of Biggy V- he's crusading for his one idea again anda again.
"You can't trust Johnny Muslim. (Especially if he lives in your country)."
Personally, I agree that if someone living in the west is actively trying to commit terrorist acts then they should be arrested, jailed etc etc. I don't agree with Big V's sly insinuations that this means EVERY muslim is to be subject to this treatment. I don't agree that this is the result of multiculturalism. |
