|
|
Hi everyone
I am out of Korea ATM, having finished with my last school in June . I accepted a summer camp position to begin in three weeks and my former school and I reached a gentleman's agreement where they wouldn't cancel my E2 Visa (They have given me unpaid time off between contracts to do this sort of work with their blessing), but I would need to go to immigration with the school director to place the summer camp location on my E2 card when I return (for a W60 000 fee).
Can someone tell me if they put this on your Alien Card instantaneously or there is a lag time of a few days or weeks between submitting the paperwork and getting it processed? The camp begins in three weeks so it is important I know the process re this.
Thanks

My experience with getting a second work place stamped on my ARC was a couple of weeks.
I'd do it asap, if I were you, just to be safe. |

Thanks Ya-ta boy
Can anyone else give an informed answer to this question? I arrive in Korea the day before the orientation, so if it isn't going to be a 30 minute formality like Ya-ta boy says it might be, I would like to know now and make other Korean plans (I don't trust my contracted school to provide a reliable answer).
Any reliable help appreciated.
