hey guys!
ive gotta get a 1 hour reading and comprehension lesson together for summer camp in a few weeks. it's for about 16 elementary grade 6 kids. i was thinking maybe i could use comics or something.
do you have any cool ideas? |

If you can draw, you could draw a few pictures showing the main ideas in the reading selection, but with 'errors' in the drawings. Students can choose the 'correct' picture and tell you why the other pictures are wrong.
In our story Jane is wearing a tiny blue bikini but in Picture A she is wearing her winter coat and showing no cleavage at all. |

Comics for ESL class?
If you have access to a computer in class, there are some great online comics/storybooks for kids such as these:
