I have an account with Bank of America back home, and I found out that they have a branch on base at the Yongsan post.
If I have my friend get me on base, do you think I'll be able to use it? It'd be a lot easier because then I wouldn't have to transfer money...I could just direct-deposit it.
But do you think it's only for military? |

Can you use internet banking? If you can, then you never have to step foot into the bank. Your job can direct deposit money in that bank for you.
THen just get a bank account here in any bank to use for local things.
Problem solved. |
