|
|
With the autumn season coming up I was wondering where the best locations to travel are, within Korea? This will be my first fall in Korea and everyone keeps telling me that the fall is the best time to travel in Korea. I am based out of the south so southern locales are preferred but for something must see I could go anywhere. Where are the best places to go in autumn?? |

Naejangsan (near Jeongeup, in Jeollabuk-do) is really lovely and well worth a visit. But the crowds of people at the weekends can be a bit annoying. If you visit when the maple leaves are at their best you'll need to allow heaps of travel time because there are usually traffic jams on the way to the national park. |

I've got to agree with the previous poster. I was at Naejangsan just a few weeks ago. Very beautiful. Good romantic place to take your girl or guy. But have heard about the crowds in fall. |

Sununsan (near Jeongup as well) is awesome, but not nearly as big as Naejangsan (which is also awesome). Also crowded (especially at the weekends), but where in Korea isn't in autumn? |

I also agree Naejangsan is a jewel, I was just there a few weeks ago also. I did the entire ridge by the temple close to Jeoungup. I am planning to visit as many parks as I can in the fall. Also planning to so the entire ridge of Jirisan which should be sweet. |
