Hi,
I have an urgent question regarding the Korean Visa Exemption policies. I am a US Citizen so I should have 30 days of exemption. I entered Korea on 7/15 and plan to leave on 8/14 (ticket has already been purchased), then my stay in Korea will be 31 days, 1 day over the exemption. Should I be concerned about this? Do I need to apply for a Visa? What will happen if I attempt to leave the country on 8/14 without a visa?

Look in your passport... it should have a date by which you must leave the country.
Otherwise you need to go to the nearest immigration office and ask for an extension. |
