Man, that's a story. I've had some horrific experiences in Korea also. But they were spread out over a longer period. GnB wouldn't give me a copy of my contract. Tried to fire me (for no stated reason) with a two day notice, although my contract stated a month's notice musrt be given. When I said we had a written contract, the owner said HE was the contract, and that I musn't raise the matter of the contract again. There's a much larger story, but suffice to say I almost became a racist after that incident (and the one at a previous school.) They really can be evil basstards.
They pretend to be so patriotic, but really don't seem to care that thousands of foreign workers leave here with very negatuve experiences which they retell for years to come. |

the guy is no winner himself. He landed at the airport to get picked up by his new employer and admitted to being drunk. Who is stupid enough to meet their new employer drunk. |

He said he was sedated, I'm not sure that means drunk. A lot of people take sedative tablets if they are afraid of flying. |

... And thousands more stay for years and years, renewing contract after contract.... Kinda addictive eh? Nothing personal towards you, just an observation. |

Man......WTF!@!@!@! No F#(king sympathy from no one from me! If you cannot sit there and stick up for yourself then you deserve to be walked on. DUDE, THE GUY WAS ALL UP IN HIS BUSINESS!!! HE WAS ILLEGALLY ENTERING THE APARTMENT AND GOING THROUGH PEOPLE'S STUFF. lol.
Man.....at the first hint that I find out a boss of mine is in my apartment sifting (sp?) through my junk, I will break him. I don't care WHAT COUNTRY I am in! Screw that. That story pissed me off! How can people sit there and take that kind of crap from others? Did they take it when they were home?
Eh....ok....I am being insensitive....I guess....Sorry. |

It sounds like it was his first teaching job, and as he wrote.....he knew he should have left when he first saw the ...shared communal housing but he was in it for the money.
I recall my first experience with ...shared housing.
There was a fight every month about who owed what and how much etc.
Yeee haww the good ol' days. |
