Is it just me, or has the heat/humidity/pollution/air-quality in Seoul been utterly unbareable over the past few days. I live in Daebang and it's almost as I can feel the CO2 filling my lungs. I'm sweating my nuts off within minutes of leaving my apt. I can't wait for my summer vacation.....in Bangkok Confused One week playing pool in a cushy air-con sports bar. Aaaah. I feel better already.

That doesn't quite add up. I've been to Bangkok twice and I found the heat/humidity combined with the car pollution alot worse than Seoul. Actually, I found it unbearable.

Bangkok would ultimately be the last place I would go to escape the heat.
In Bangkok, there is also that unique smell that 'attaches' itself to your clothes. Now the islands like Koh Samui etc down south, well that's an entirely different story.

Come to think of it, air conditioners do exist in Seoul, or didn't you notice?

I'm a little confused by this, too. I put away my blanket a few weeks ago, but got it out again last week. It's been humid, but pretty cool at night. Last night, after all that rain, it was kind of warm so I took the blanket off the bed...and about 2AM woke up and put it back on the bed. Chilly!
