For the love of God, do not post bad ones. We have enough, and this thread would probably get pulled at sometime if this happens. But if there are enough good stories about a recruiter, maybe we can assume they are good. Again, you want to make a bad recruiter thread, go right ahead. Let's try to keep this positive.

I got my job through ATC Korea with Brendan Cho. I had no difficulties (though he phoned me pretty late a couple of times forgeting about the time difference Wink ) and while I haven't ever asked for support, the company has asked me a couple times how things are going and if they can help. There was even a survey.

This is a very nice idea for a thread!

In the last few weeks, I worked with NetKorea, Worknplay, and BCM Recruiting, and I found all of them to be very helpful, professional, and encouraging. There was another agency for a summer camp that turned out to be flaky, but I won't bother mentioning names Very Happy

Kimnjoe have been great. I would recommend them to anyone. They mainly deal with jobs in Busan, Daegu, and the surrounding areas, but sometimes other cities as well.

Really? I have heard horror stories about Duff. I'm glad you had a good experience with them.

Did you hear the one where a bus load of recruiters ran a red light and were all killed?

What a great story!

8 recruiters from Berlitz recently drank "the kool-aid" who were in a cult and committed mass suicide

I went to a number of recruiting agencies, looked at what they offered, and found a job I am glad to do. In the end it was Gina Kim at ESL Career Bank. She found a job right where I requested with the hours I wanted, got me in touch with staff and teachers, who I then asked the real questions to, and that was that. Haven't heard from her since, but I don't see why she should follow up anyway. Whether or not it was a conscious decision of hers to offer me this good job or just plain luck on my part, I don't know, but it worked for the best.

I'm trying to make a helpful thread, please start a new one for bashing or go into one that already is.

I worked with ATC as well. My recruiter was Patrick and I have no complaints. He contacted me regularly throughout the process to make sure everything was going smoothly, he conveyed my requests to the Board of Education and made sure they were fulfilled. I've been here a week and everything I expected and MORE that has been given to me.
We've still been keeping in contact and we're actually meeting tomorrow in 홍대 to grab a bite to eat. I highly recommend him/ATC.
