There is a general casting call at the Daegu artists' co-op studio.It's from 5-9pm om sunday the 16th (after which The Roids will be playing at Commune's)

Title: Departure/Arrival
Story: Four simultaneous narratives interweaving voluntary blindness, absences of communication, the Wizard of Oz, singing out loud, transit, the lost histories of the self and being buried under piles of old laundry.
Locations: everywhere
Distribution: The finished film will be submitted to festivals as experimental, and will also comprise a gallery installation.

Roles for audition candidates:
one woman 20's voluntarily blind doing zazen walking meditation through busy Korean thoroughfares.
one man 20's searches across the country posting lost (everything) signs, carrying on narratives with unsuspecting locals.
a couple, age/gender not important, could be a real couple or an acting pair as a couple, who take a trip from the airport to the ocean.

Anyone with or without acting experience welcome. Auditions are for Korean and/or English speakers. Monologues not necessary. PM me for more information.
