If you're gonna have a thread about the worst movies, you should also have one about the best movies you have seen - especially since there are so many more bad movies than good movies.

Of course my votes for best movies are all Bollywood movies, but since that's probably not your cup of tea, then I'll have to go with

I loved Fight Club. But there are a handful of movies that rank higher in my book, such as:

The Usual Suspects
The Princess Bride
Last of the Mohicans
Everyone Says I Love You
Moulin Rouge
Devdas (sappy, I know)
Memento
Fushigi Yuugi (it's an anime series)
Pulp Fiction
Edit: South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut

Feel free to critique.

right now, 'the 40 year old virgin' takes the cake for me. i think that's mostly because i was so pleasantly surprised. i expected it to be kind of lame with 2 or 3 funny scenes, but i laughed my ass off all the way through it, and it was a pretty long movie. all of the characters were brilliant, and the delivery from the actors was spot on. i love that movie.

Forgot to include that in my original post here. Definitely think that's a classic worthy of many repeat viewings.

I'm off to watch Salem's Lot right now.

It's not a great movie.

But I like some of that vampire stuff.

The Fifth Element.

There are few movies I can watch more than 10 times. This is a movie I have watched probably around 50 times and it never gets boring.

Rating top movies is sort of a personal thing. Everyone's tastes are different. My list of top 10 movies changes periodically as my tastes change, however The Fifth Element has always been top 5 for me since I first saw it.
