We want try and find some good western food in Seoul.

Are you already living in Korea? Skip Seoul and go to JeJu do!! hire a car and drive around the island.
But if you're intenet on staying in Seoul during the sticky, humid rainy season , I recommend getting a nice love hotel and ordering in^^, venturing outside only at night when it is cooler. Seoul is much better by night anyhow |

My wife and I, for our first wedding anniversary last year, went to Busan and stayed at the Westin-Chosun Hotel. We walked around the beach a bit, had dinner at their lovely restaurant, etc. It was nice (except for the raining of the two out of three days we were there).
All-in-all, we had each other and that's what counted. We had great laughs and great moments.
Good luck to you and have fun. Just remember, if you can get away during the week, it is MUCH CHEAPER. For example, the Chosun was 220,000WON per night on the weekend or 150,000WON per night during the week. |
